Summary

We collect what you enter into a quote request so that we can answer it. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.

What we collect

Your name, company, email, phone and message when you submit a quote request. Our server also keeps standard visit logs – IP address, browser and pages viewed – for security.

We do not take or store card details on this website.

How we use it

To answer your request, quote, invoice, deliver your goods and keep our record of the sale. We share it only where necessary to complete the sale: a freight carrier requires a delivery address, and our accountant requires sale records.

Cookies

We use cookies needed for website functions and staff sign-in.

After you submit an inquiry, a temporary cookie lets your browser display the confirmation when you refresh the page. It expires after 24 hours, or is cleared when you return to that product’s form. The cookie does not contain your name, email address, or message and is not used for advertising or visitor analytics.

Site analytics

We count page views using a privacy-friendly tool that sets no cookies, stores no personal information and cannot follow you to other websites. It is served from our own domain and runs on every visit. There is nothing to switch off, because nothing that identifies you is recorded.

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics, which does set cookies and shares information with Google: pages viewed, referring websites, browser and device information, approximate location, how far down a page you scroll, links you follow away from this site, searches you run on it, and files you download. We do not send inquiry form contents, names, email addresses or phone numbers to Google Analytics, and we do not enable advertising personalization.

Google Analytics is on by default. You can switch it off at any time using Cookie settings in the footer, and we remember your choice for six months in your browser. Switching it off stops future collection and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies from your browser; it does not automatically erase data already collected.

You may request a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email surplus@prsindustrialinc.com with your request. We will not treat you differently for asking.
